Who do we work for? Vendor or buyer…

As public auctioneers we act as a middleman between two customers: the vendor and the buyer, and we believe it is important to protect the interests of both parties – but how do we do this?

For our vendors, we ensure a confidential, efficient and approachable service. For our buyers we have a transparent sales process which treats each individual potential bidder fairly. As public auctioneers, we achieve a fair market price with realistic estimates ensuring both parties are happy with the outcome.

This is best demonstrated by our Property Auctions. We work differently to estate agents and property auctioneers and do not load our buyers with thousands of pounds worth of additional fees.  We choose to cap our buyer’s premium at £800 + VAT, removing unnecessary expense with the understanding that buyers will likely have more to spend on the auction property itself. Our method provides a transparent auction service that protects the interests of the vendor whilst offering confidence in bidding to our buyers.

All of our auction properties are extensively marketed across Zoopla and Rightmove, but are also promoted across our website and social media platforms. Our latest property catalogue received over ten thousand unique visitors, with six thousand link clicks from Facebook alone. We also use live broadcasting on Periscope and Twitter to engage with potential buyers, and can have up to a hundred viewers watching at any one time. Our unique combination of social media and online marketing is bolstered by traditional signage, advertising the sale of the property by way of auction to a local audience.

We are a traditional business, with traditional values – but we love the internet!
